  2. What do you do that makes you different and effective?
    1. Treatment philosophy
We examine and treat the WHOLE person, focusing on the CAUSES of pain rather than the symptoms, which typically involve other parts of the body. This philosophy also empowers the patient to create the environment for the body to heal itself for long lasting results.

  4. Will I be seeing the same therapist each time?
    • You will be seeing a primary therapist assigned for your specific needs, and a secondary clinician will be available to assist in your care as needed. This approach not only allows for a more well-rounded experience but also allows us to provide more flexibility when scheduling your appointments.
  5. What can I expect on the first visit?
    • Each patient receives an evaluation, clear explanation, individualized treatment and customized home exercise program.
This appointment will typically last about an hour.
  6. What can I expect on the following visits?
    • During your follow up appointments the therapist will monitor your progress and adapt your plan of care as necessary.  These appointments typically consist of manual techniques, modalities, and customized exercises.  The therapist may modify your home exercise program during these visits as well.
  7. What if therapy doesn't help me?
    • In this case, please consult with your therapist, so that we can address your concerns, then perform a re-evaluation where we may alter your treatment plan to maximize your recovery.
  8. How fast can you get me in therapy?
    • We can usually schedule your therapy the same day or only up to 48 hours.
  9. How long do treatments last?
    • Treatments typically last between 30 and 45 minutes a visit. The first appointment may take a little longer and will require you to arrive 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork.

    • Mon, Wed 8am – 5pm
      Tues, Thurs 8am – 6pm
      Friday 8am - 2pm
  11. How often should I come to therapy?
    • The frequency and duration of your physical therapy treatments will be determined by your therapist during your evaluation. This will depend on your specific physical therapy needs and plan of care. Typically, treatments are 2 to 3 times a week for a month or so. The therapist will evaluate your progress regularly and you may be discharged from care sooner than anticipated.
  12. Can my teenager come to treatment by him/herself?
    • A legal guardian must be present during the evaluation if the patient is under 18 years of age.
  13. Will the treatments be painful?
    • The therapists are extremely gentle and will design a program unique to your condition. During the evaluation the therapist will walk you through a plan of care so that you know exactly what to expect. Our focus is to help you reduce and/or eliminate pain and restore function.
  14. Will my insurance cover the treatments?
    • Medical insurance typically covers a portion of physical therapy visits.  How much the insurance will cover varies widely and is based on both the health insurance company and your specific plan. The best way to know what to expect is to contact the customer service number on the back of your insurance card and ask them what your physical therapy coverage is.
