Brett Johnson P.T.

“I was first introduced to physical therapy after suffering several ankle injuries playing soccer. During my time in rehabilitation, it clicked with me. I wanted to be a physical therapist. After completing physical therapy school, I began to expand my clinical skills by attending a multitude of continuing education courses. I have studied orthopedic manual therapy, advanced movement analysis, functional exercise training, and now Postural Restoration.

My treatment philosophy is an integrated approach which focuses on the person, not just body parts. I recognize the natural patterns of human function and work to restore the body to a state of balance. This eliminates the abnormal forces on the injured structure allowing it to heal. Therefore the whole body needs to be considered in the evaluation and treatment for the best outcomes.

My goal as your physical therapist is to help you restore your body to its optimal positions for function and to educate you on how to maintain these positions. By restoring optimal biomechanics, this approach is well suited for anyone from chronic pain sufferers to elite athletes. ”
